Meanwhile, Kuwait expressed its condemnation and denunciation in the strongest terms of the continued attempts by Houthi militias to threaten the kingdom’s security by targeting the southern region with three drones.

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement today that the continuation of these aggressive practices and the escalation targeting civilians, civilian areas, Saudi Arabia’s security and the stability of the region, constitute a flagrant violation of the rules of international humanitarian law and require the international community to act quickly and decisively to deter these threats and hold the perpetrators accountable.

The statement affirmed Kuwait’s full support for Saudi Arabia in all measures it takes to preserve its security, stability and sovereignty.

On Saturday evening, the Saudi-led Arab coalition announced the interception and destruction of three Houthi drones that were launched towards the southern region of Saudi Arabia.
