Conflicts hit the Brotherhood – details
A state of deep crises witnessed by the Brotherhood terrorist group abroad after the escalation of developments within the ranks of the Brotherhood and the declaration of the Istanbul Front led by Mahmoud Hussein, the dismissal of Ibrahim Munir from the London Front and leaders of the international organization from the Brotherhood, which renewed the conflict between the two parties and the issuing of statements attacking each other, which confirms the state of collapse reached by the Brotherhood abroad, and the weakness of the situation as a result of the lack of confidence in that leadership.
What’s going on?
The two groups have accused each other of corruption, foreign aid, and involvement in the rendition of Brotherhood members in Sudan and elsewhere. They have also exchanged accusations of theft, bribery, and labor on social media.
The matter did not stop at the isolation of Ibrahim Munir, but reached the point where Ahmed Shosha, Osama Suleiman, Helmi Al-Jazzar, Abdullah Al-Nahhas, Mohammed Al-Beheiri, Mohammed Jamal Heshmat, Mohammed Taher Namir, Mohammed Abdul Muti Al-Jazzar, Mahmoud Al-Iberi, Mohi Al-Zait, Musaad Al-Zeini and Najib Al-Zarif were dismissed.
Regarding the successive crises within the ranks of the Muslim Brotherhood abroad, Syrian Brotherhood leader Molham Aldrobi called on Mahmoud Hussein and Ibrahim Munir to ‘leave their positions and leave the leadership to whom they deserve”.
On his Facebook account, he said: “It is clear to me that the leaders of the second line are weak, and that they are being dragged behind this disagreement instead of standing firm and resolutely against it, or they are isolating the two different brothers who have lost the right thing, and they have to honor their pledge of allegiance, leave their position and leave the leadership to whomever they deserve”.
Conflict of interest
Dr. Tharwat El Kherbawy, a leading Brotherhood defector and specialist on terrorist groups, said: The Brotherhood is trying to find a place for itself by making the financiers feel they still exist, have a base, etc. Both parties, whether the Istanbul or London Front, are beneficiaries, receive full funding, and the Brotherhood is not interested in anything.
The Muslim Brotherhood leader added that these conflicts are purely personal conflicts of interest between Ibrahim Munir and Mahmoud Hussein, and what is happening is the final and final chapter in the structure of this terrorist organization. He noted that the coming period will witness many surprises regarding the scandals of these terrorist leaders.
