December election; Last chance to rebuild the nest of the Tunisian Brotherhood
One blow after another has been dealt to the Ennahdha Movement in Tunisia, since the historic decisions taken by Tunisian President Kais Saied more than a year later that limited the Brotherhood’s domination of the Tunisian state.
Ennahdha has recently attempted to return to the political scene by forming the so-called National Salvation Front, which includes several entities, most notably Ennahdha and the Brotherhood’s Dignity Coalition.
Over the past few hours, the National Salvation Front announced a boycott of the parliamentary elections scheduled for next December, in an attempt to succeed its plan regarding the elections, which may end the Brotherhood movement’s political career in Tunisia for life, especially after the failure of its agenda in the referendum on the Tunisian constitution.
Tunisian sources revealed that the so-called National Salvation Front is communicating with American pressure groups with the aim of offending the Tunisian state and its president, Kais Saied, in lies that the organization targets Tunisia’s stability. This was repeated earlier with Egypt after the fall of their regime in the country following the outbreak of a massive popular revolution on June 30, 2013.
The sources clarified that the announcement of a boycott of the legislative elections in Tunisia by the Muslim Brotherhood parties reveals a new strategy of the group there, which is to choose a confrontation with the Tunisian regime in secret, by using terrorist organizations to bring the country to its knees and stop the road map that ultimately aims at purifying all of Tunisia and its institutions from the Brotherhood presence.
Observers said that the upcoming legislative elections represent a major historical responsibility within Tunisia, because they aim to end the black decade system that led to the establishment of the rule of the Brotherhood and its complete end through the consolidation of the new reform process in the country, which was initiated by Kais Saied with historic decisions, of course the dissolution of the parliament which was dominated by the leadership of the Brotherhood in Tunisia.
Observers revealed that Tunisian President Kais Saied has a file on Ennahdha’s secret service, which includes many dangerous files in which Ennahdha was involved, foremost among them involvement in political assassinations, in addition to the file of Tunisian youth to travel to the hotbeds of conflict and tension, with the support of terrorist organizations inside and outside Tunisia.
Kais Saied dealt Ennahdha a crushing blow until the Muslim Brotherhood in Tunisia was unable to participate in the upcoming elections due to fear of the disgraceful results of the group’s members, after they failed to mobilize to thwart the referendum on the constitution despite their fierce attack on the Tunisian president, and also their work to topple him during the referendum, but the results caused a great shock to the members and leaders of the Brotherhood in Tunisia.
