Galactic Heart: Breathtaking new image from James Webb Space Telescope

The James Webb Space Telescope opens a new horizon for astronomers to explore the obscured center of the Milky Way with gas and dust.

The Sagittarius C region is located at the center of the Milky Way, presenting one of the biggest puzzles in this context.

Approximately 500,000 stars are found in this region, which poses a challenge for observation due to the intense radiation from the densely packed stars.

This current space image marks the first time the center of the galaxy is seen with high precision and sensitivity, allowing scientists to study star formation in this environment in an unprecedented way.

Among the new findings revealed is the discovery of a massive star that was previously unknown, with a mass exceeding 30 times that of our Sun.

Researchers also focus on needle-like structures in ionized hydrogen, which appear randomly and present other intriguing features.

The lead researcher, Samuel Crow, stated that this image is of great significance, and the data collected will contribute to a better understanding of the depths of that region.
