Iran’s new president receives the most expensive plane in the world as a gift from the Emir of Qatar
Qatari Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani has donated a luxury Airbus A380 to Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi.
The Fars News Agency confirmed through its official microblogging website that Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, the Emir of Qatar, gave the new Iranian President, Ebrahim Raisi, an Airbus A380 presidential plane after he was declared the winner of the presidential elections in Iran.
Aircraft specifications
The A380 is the most expensive aircraft in the world, the largest private aircraft in the world by volume, with a price of 500 million dollars. It has an elevator, a parking lot for Rolls-Royce, a concert hall and an electronic prayer room that heads alone towards the qiblah.
The first flight took off on 27 April 2005 from the airport of the city of Toulouse, in the south of France.
The Airbus A380 design provides an estimated flight capability of 15200 kilometers.
The Emir of Qatar’s gift to Iran’s new president, Ebrahim Raisi, came after the Iranian Interior Ministry officially declared a major victory in the presidential elections with 62% of the votes cast, in the least popular election since the victory of the Iranian revolution.
