Mohamed Bin Zayed discusses with the President of North Macedonia the development of bilateral relations
President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received Wednesday President of the Northern Republic of Macedonia Stevo Pendarovski, who is on a working visit to the UAE.
During the meeting, which took place at Al-Shati Palace in Abu Dhabi, Sheik Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed the visiting president, expressing his aspiration for further development in the level of relations between the two countries on various tracks.
The two sides discussed the progress in relations of cooperation, especially in the economic, trade, investment and other sectors, which constitute the main pillars of sustainable development and progress in both countries.
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the President of Macedonia reviewed a number of issues and topics of common interest and exchanged views on them, stressing in this context the two countries’ support for all initiatives and endeavors aimed at achieving stability, development and prosperity for the peoples of the region and the world.
The two sides affirmed their common keenness to move forward with relations between the UAE and North Macedonia in important and advanced steps in the coming period, based on the common will to develop and develop them, in addition to the existence of great opportunities that can be invested for the benefit of the two peoples in a way that serves the development and prosperity of the two countries.
During the meeting, a memorandum of understanding on mutual visa exemption for holders of diplomatic, special and official passports was announced between the governments of the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of North Macedonia.
