Munir-Hussein war… Conflict within the Brotherhood moves to the stage of “revenge”
The conflict is still raging at the “Head of the Brotherhood” summit between Ibrahim Munir and Mahmoud Hussein‘s Front for Leadership of the Group, which is designated a terrorist organization in Egypt and several countries.

This came after leaks from the office of the first official to “stop the seditious activities” of the offenders and to refer them for investigation in order to dismiss them.
The terrorist Muslim Brotherhood group is living in a state of self-destruction as a result of the war that is raging at the top of the “Head of the Brotherhood” between the two camps in Turkey, represented by Mahmoud Hussein, and the other in Britain, represented by Ibrahim Munir, the Deputy Guide and Chargé d’affaires.
Day after day, Munir is seeking decisions aimed at stopping the Brotherhood’s rapid collapse and putting an end to the organization’s unprecedented fragmentation.
According to leaks from Munir’s office, he intends to investigate the JAN’s violators before firing them, describing them as “divisive and leadership activists”.
Munir issued an internal decision, called “The Protocol of Cooperation with Our Brothers Seeking to Disperse”, which includes a decision to limit those he considers “to lead the movement of deviation from leadership, and to march between brothers in discord and confusion.” He called for these names to be removed from the office, and for those affected by their discourse to be counted, if possible, and for the degree of its impact to be classified.
Munir’s decision also said: “Each division has identified a group of wise brothers to dialog with this dissenting group.”
“Munir drew up steps to deal with the violators of Mahmoud Hussein‘s front, including arranging a hearing for each individual, discussing him, and confronting him, on the need to determine his position on the current legitimate and only leadership, which is the Supreme Council and Ibrahim as the deputy guide and his charge d’affaires”.
He called on the acting leader to warn violators of the need to stop what he described as their “seditious activities in the classroom,” adding: “Any organizational activity, meeting, or gathering outside the legal framework of the division will be dealt with through the investigation committee”.

- The Muslim Brotherhood’s female role is abused by the organization
Reflecting the concern over the influence of violators on the structure of the organization, Munir said in his decision, which was distributed internally, ‘’If the brother violates the law, and pledges not to repeat what he does, we would thank him and continue to follow him closely. If the violator insists on his position, he will be dealt with according to the nature of his role. If he is an official, he will be relieved of his educational responsibility, and he will be arrested and referred to the Bureau’s investigation committee for decision’’.
“Irresponsible but well-known figures are suspended from all advocacy and educational activities and referred for investigation,” Munir said.
Amro Abdel Moneim, a researcher on Islamist movements, said that Munir’s decisions reflect the depth of the dispute that has reached the head of the Brotherhood.
“The dispute reached a stage of retaliation between the two groups, through Munir’s use of the separation weapon against the violators and his restrictions on them,” he said, attributing his decisions to “the depth of the dispute and the organizational and intellectual chaos that is hitting the head of the organization”.
He said the dispute between the two groups has escalated into retaliation by threatening to dismiss violators, and monitoring groups and each other from the Munir group against Hussein and vice versa.

Abdel Moneim also indicated that the current scene within the organization reflects the division and the clear disagreement at the top of the pyramid between two camps over who manages the organization and how funds are managed, without this division being about ideology.
Munir had earlier announced that any media coverage of the internal crisis would be suspended until the investigation committee completes its work and announces its decision on the suspects.
Munir’s decision was considered irrelevant to any meeting of any institution in the Brotherhood that was invited by any person referred to for investigation, whether it was her or his support.
Osama Suleiman, spokesman for Munir’s Front, said in a recent interview with one of the group’s websites that there is no way out of this crisis except for the group of detainees to comply with the investigation and its outcome.
He continued: “If they (Hussein’s group) insist on their positions, they have expelled themselves from the group”.
In contrast, Mahmoud Hussein’s Front (Istanbul Bureau) tried to confirm its actions against Ibrahim Munir, and issued a statement revealing the actual split of the organization into two, in a conflict driven primarily by a struggle for money, positions, and influence.
The Mahmoud Hussein Front, the former secretary-general of the terrorist group, issued a statement through its official spokesman, Talaat Fahmi, in which it sought to legitimize the Shura Council’s recent decisions to relieve acting leader Ibrahim Munir from his position, in addition to challenging all decisions of the Front, including the arrest of six Brotherhood leaders in Turkey, most prominently Mahmoud Hussein.
The statement said that the decision to remove Munir from his position as acting leader was made based on the convening of the General Organization Consultative Council with its full members inside and outside Egypt, not only inside Turkey, with only two abstentions.
