New scandal for Brotherhood… they pay UK MPs to attack Saudi Arabia

The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) reports that “Members of the House of Commons Layla Moran and Crispin Blunt used their official office to participate in a meeting via Zoom to attack Saudi Arabia“.

British MP Layla Moran admitted receiving £3,000 from a law firm and using official UK offices to attack Saudi Arabia on human rights issues.

The law firm that dealt with Moran turned out to be Bindmans LLP, which handles the defense of the Muslim Brotherhood in Britain, according to the Times.

The work in question was a Zoom meeting organized by a private law firm to attack human rights in Saudi Arabia.

The newspaper explained that Moran received £3,000 from the company, and Representative Crispin Blunt received £6,000 to attend the session and preside over the certificates.

It added that MP Moran received the money for 40 hours of work, in addition to her salary as a member of parliament, which is £80,000.

Meanwhile, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has called for an investigation and punishment of MPs who have put the interests of the outside at the expense of Britain.

He told the speaker: MPs should not become involved in foreign policies paid by lobbyists.

For their part, the Bahraini authorities commented on what is being circulated in the media in the United Kingdom, which includes “insulting” the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its interests.

In a statement released today through the official news agency, the Bahraini Foreign Ministry said: “The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses the Kingdom of Bahrain’s strong condemnation of what has been circulated in the British media about a number of members of the House of Commons of the United Kingdom maliciously harming the interests of the sister Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as a paid service to pressure groups targeting the security and stability of the region”.

The Bahraini Foreign Ministry continued in its statement: “The Kingdom of Bahrain commends the decision of the British Prime Minister to initiate the necessary measures to curb illegal actions aimed at harming States, but stresses the importance of the GCC countries’ commitment to a unified policy to confront any abuses targeting any GCC State, in compliance with the Justice Agreement, the Statute of the Gulf Cooperation Council and previous agreements”.
