The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Sunday that Russian air defense units had destroyed 77 drones launched by Ukraine during the night.

A Russian military source reported that the Russian army destroyed the positions of three units belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces in two areas of the Sumy region.
The source told RIA Novosti: “The positions of the 158th Separate Mechanized Brigade, the 116th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade, and a special company of the 225th Separate Assault Regiment in the areas of Andriivka and Sadky were destroyed.”

According to the latest data from the Ministry of Defense, Russian forces attacked, over the past twenty-four hours, positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in several towns in this region. Ukrainian forces reportedly lost more than 285 soldiers, an armored combat vehicle, fifteen vehicles, an artillery piece, as well as two ammunition and supply depots.
On Friday, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that Russian armed forces had struck facilities belonging to the Ukrainian military-industrial complex, as well as the energy infrastructure supporting their operation, using high-precision weapons, in addition to making advances along all fronts.

The ministry stated in a communiqué: “In response to Ukrainian attacks on civilian targets in Russia, the Russian armed forces launched a comprehensive strike last night using long-range, high-precision air- and ground-based weapons, including Kinzhal hypersonic airborne ballistic missiles and long-range drones. The strikes targeted facilities of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex, the energy infrastructure supporting them, as well as port infrastructure used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.”
