Not Brushing Teeth Leads to Deadly and Serious Disease

Dentists have issued a new and serious warning after a new study linked not brushing teeth to an increased risk of colon cancer.

Dr. Farakh Hameed, a dentist at Aesthetique Dental Care clinic, told the British newspaper “Mirror” that the health impact of not brushing teeth with a toothbrush can be serious and fatal, especially after scientists found a type of bacteria inside the colon.

Dr. Hameed explained, “New studies have shown a surprising relationship between how we care for our teeth and the risk of colon cancer. It appears that a certain type of bacteria, usually found in our mouths, can end up in our colon if we do not properly brush our teeth, which can increase the risk of colon cancer.”

He added, “It has become evident that what happens in our mouth can also affect other parts of the body. Neglecting our teeth can lead to unexpected problems, such as impacting other organs with the disease.”

He explained, “The bacteria, known as Fusobacterium nucleatum, can worsen the condition of patients with colon and rectal cancer.”

He continued, saying, “It has been found that finding these bacteria in colon tumors leads to a deterioration in the health status of patients, underscoring the importance of daily teeth brushing with a toothbrush and regular visits to the dentist for deep cleaning, as it is not just about avoiding cavities but maintaining overall body health.”
