Oman: We are working with Saudi Arabia to end the war in Yemen
The Foreign Minister of the Sultanate of Oman, Badr al-Busaidi, confirmed his country’s commitment to the fundamental principles of its foreign policy, which are the principles of good neighborliness and non-interference in the affairs of others.
During his address to the United Nations General Assembly, the Foreign Minister of the Sultanate of Oman said :”we support the positive developments that resulted from the Summit of the World and the reconciliation efforts led by Kuwait”.
He added that his country is continuing its efforts to work with Saudi Arabia and international parties to end the war by reaching a political solution in Yemen.
The Foreign Minister of the Sultanate of Oman expressed his country’s hope that all Afghan parties would work towards reconciliation and the primacy of the national interest. We condemn terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and support efforts and strategies to eradicate that scourge.
The Omani Foreign Minister called for an end to threats to international shipping and for adherence to laws and customs.
