Police kill man who stabbed 4 to death in Queens, New York
Authorities reported that a man wielding a knife killed four members of his extended family, including two children, in a home in the Queens area of New York City before being shot and killed by the police.
New York City police stated that a girl called to report the incident that occurred in the Far Rockaway neighborhood in Queens, saying that ‘a relative of hers is killing members of her family.’
Police told reporters that the 38-year-old suspect stabbed two police officers who had responded to the scene, and one of them shot him, resulting in his death.
It was reported that the suspect had been previously arrested for a domestic violence incident. The two injured officers were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The police stated that the four individuals who were fatally stabbed include a 12-year-old boy, an 11-year-old girl, a 44-year-old woman, and a man in his thirties. They added that the 11-year-old child was found outside the house, while the other three were found inside the bedrooms.
