Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince debates with Putin the global energy markets


According to an official statement on Tuesday, and during a telephone call, Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Russian President Vladimir Putin debated the actual situation in the energy markets.

According to a statement on the call issued by the Saudi Press Agency: During the call, they reviewed the conditions of the global oil markets and the efforts made to achieve stability and maintaining balance to support the growth of the global economy. Both sides agreed on the importance of all oil-producing countries continuing to cooperate and abide by the OPEC+ agreement to achieve these goals for the benefit of both producers and consumers.

Moreover, Saudi Aramco CEO Amin Nasse reported that it’s expected that oil demand recovers to pre-coronavirus levels by 2022, once the development of a vaccine by the end of next year.

He said at the Energy Intelligence Forum: The worst is definitely behind us, adding: We are seeing a recovery.
