Terrorism: A Product of the Muslim Brotherhood and the Houthis… Yemenis React to Major Massacres in the South

Southern social media users have revealed that the battle against terrorism in the south has been ongoing since 1990, when the Islah Party of the Muslim Brotherhood was established, and terrorism infiltrated the south, along with other allied forces from Sanaa, which practiced all forms of repression, criminality, persecution, and injustice against the southern people.

They explained through the hashtag “Terrorism: A Product of the Muslim Brotherhood and the Houthis” that terrorism in the south was not a known phenomenon before the invasion of the south in 1994. They noted, according to “Al-Mashhad Al-Arabi” website, that with the arrival of Yemeni parties, the “Arab Mujahideen” were brought in and used terrorism as a weapon to blackmail both the domestic and international communities, while the south was previously a haven of stability.

They drew attention to the involvement of the Islah Party in committing major massacres against the southern people, including the assassination of more than 156 southern cadres in Sanaa, as well as the takfiri fatwas issued against the southern inhabitants.

They warned that the Islah Party and Houthi militias exploit violence and terrorism as primary tools to achieve political and expansionist goals, despite the differences in their ideologies and the conditions in which they operate.

They confirmed that the cooperation between the two parties poses a significant threat to national security as well as international peace and security in the region, clarifying that terrorism against the southerners will not stop until all religious, educational, and economic institutions of the Islah Party, affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood, are eradicated from the southern territory.

Activists and politicians in Yemen revealed that the Islah Party has committed some of the most heinous crimes against the Yemeni people since its inception, and these crimes were often committed under a religious guise, with fatwas justifying these acts and considering them as jihad for the sake of God, considering the southern people as infidels to be killed, including women and children, as stated in the famous fatwa of Al-Dailami that permitted the extermination of southerners, both men and women and children, under the pretext of preserving Islam and fighting against the infidel communists.

They asserted that over the past three decades, the Islah Party has been notable for its use of violence and takfiri fatwas against the Yemeni people, resulting in the deaths of hundreds, particularly in the south, and the violation of their rights.

A report by the British newspaper “The Telegraph” revealed that Houthi rebels in Yemen are now cooperating with what is known as “Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula” by providing the Houthis with drones and exchanging prisoners between the two groups.
