The Brotherhood’s Double Game… Mohamed Khairallah, Muslim Brotherhood Activist or Zionist Arm?

Journalist and researcher Hossam El-Ghamry asserted that the Muslim Brotherhood’s media is “a tool of psychological warfare against the Egyptian people,” describing it as “a Zionist arm executing a clear Israeli agenda.”
In televised statements on Al-Hayat channel, he stressed that “the Brotherhood’s betrayals, particularly after the events of October 7, will earn them a cursed place in history.”
El-Ghamry accused these media outlets of directly working to “glorify and idolize certain figures” in order to serve the Israeli agenda, all under the guise of political opposition.
He disclosed information about activist Mohamed Saad Khairallah, presented by the Brotherhood-affiliated Al-Sharq channel as a symbol of Egyptian opposition and a victim of the regime. El-Ghamry explained that Khairallah is not merely a political dissident but also a regular contributor to major Israeli newspapers such as Israel Hayom, The Times of Israel, and The Jerusalem Post.
He added that Khairallah frequently appears on official Israeli channels such as Kan, Makan, and i24news, adopting positions supportive of Israel while attacking Palestinians.
El-Ghamry reviewed excerpts from Khairallah’s writings, noting that he described the recognition of a Palestinian state as “a reward for terrorism” and argued that the region without Israel would have become “a garbage dump.” He also quoted him as saying that Israel’s presence in the region represents “a hope for reforming that part of the world.”
El-Ghamry concluded that presenting such a figure as a symbol of Egyptian opposition on Al-Sharq channel exposes “an Israeli agenda aiming to infiltrate the Arab media landscape and use opposition figures to serve its interests.” He stressed that the channel has become “a tool for polishing the image of individuals who serve Israeli interests under the guise of defending democracy and human rights.”
