“The Extraterrestrial Massacre”… A Shocking Theory on the Perplexing Puzzle

American astronomer Frederick Walter has put forward a provocative theory explaining why extraterrestrial beings have not been in contact with humans, according to the British newspaper “Daily Mail”.

According to the newspaper, Walter from Stony Brook University in New York suggested that extraterrestrial beings may have been annihilated by deadly gamma-ray bursts, which would account for the lack of any contact between these beings and humans on planet Earth.

The newspaper cited NASA, stating that gamma-ray bursts are short-lived but intensely bright bursts of light, with a brightness equivalent to a quintillion (a number equal to a million trillion) times that of the sun, enough to completely burn a civilization outside of planet Earth.

According to Walter, a “gamma-ray is a highly concentrated beam of light, and if it traverses the plane of the galaxy, it could sterilize about 10% of the planets in the galaxy, and a gamma-ray burst occurs in almost any galaxy about every 100 million years”.
