Not the First Time
This is not the first time Ben-Gvir has stormed the mosque; it is the eighth time since his appointment as minister and the fifth time since the outbreak of the Gaza war on October 7, 2023.
The last time he stormed the mosque was on December 26, 2024.
Prior to this, he had stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque several times, but without holding an official position.
