The Israeli army announced that it had neutralized 10 of Hezbollah‘s senior military leaders, leaving only one survivor: the commander of the Badr Unit, affiliated with the Southern Lebanon Front.
Avichay Adraee, the spokesperson for the Israeli army, posted on his X (formerly Twitter) account a chart of Hezbollah’s military leadership following the assassination of Nasrallah on Friday.
All the individuals in the chart were marked as “eliminated,” except for one: Abou Ali Reza, the “commander of the Badr Unit” affiliated with the southern front.

Who Is Abou Ali Reza?
Abou Ali Reza Abbas, also known by the nickname “Haj Abou Hussein Barish,” leads the Badr Unit, one of Hezbollah’s most significant military formations.
Israeli reports suggest that he has taken command of the elite Ridwan Unit, succeeding Ibrahim Aqil, who was assassinated by Israel on September 20th of this year.
According to these reports, Abou Ali Reza is 60 years old and hails from the village of Barish in the Tyre district of southern Lebanon.
