The surprise of the second day of Expo Dubai… A live conversation from space
Expo 2020 Dubai continues for the second day on Saturday, with a heavy public turnout that confirms the interest in the global event.
As the second day of Expo 2020 begins in Dubai, visitors of different nationalities and age groups flock to the various wings, expressing their excitement at seeing the world in one place.
Expo 2020 will be held in Dubai from October 1st to March 31st, 2022. It will open from 10am to midnight from Saturday to Wednesday and from 10am to 2am on Thursday and Friday.
As usual, events organized by the United Arab Emirates serve as a model, from organization to visitor turnout, to the content and honorable image of the event and the praise it receives worldwide.
National Day of France
One of the most prominent events of the day is the National Day of France, where the French Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs, Jean-Yves Le Drian, will head the official delegation of his country’s celebrations of the National Day. The delegation includes Franck Riester, minister delegate for trade and economic attractiveness at the French foreign ministry.
The flag-raising ceremony in Al-Wasl will be followed by an air show by the French Air Force Parade Unit, ”Patrouille de France”, to demonstrate the skill and distinction of the French Air Force.
Space communication
Thomas Pesquet, an astronaut and ambassador of the France Wing, will make a 15-minute live call from the International Space Station.
The National Day celebrations, held in the French wing and throughout Expo 2020, pave the way for 192 countries to participate in the six-month international event.
Among the events of the second day, we can mention the performance of the Berywam at the Millennium Theater in Dubai, an internationally renowned Beatbox troupe in Toulouse. The members of the group, who have won the Beatbox World Championship twice, will respect French and international standards in their own way.
Malaysian Foreign Minister Saifuddin Abdullah will officially inaugurate the Malaysia pavilion.
El Salvador will also celebrate the opening of its wing with a series of events at the Jubilee Park, including interactive screens, light effects and air shows. The performances will include a performance by the La Fura Dels Baus, a famous Spanish theater group.

It will focus on three main themes: “Sustainability”, “Mobility” and “Opportunities” to shape the future of the world through a cultural and creative dialog aimed at providing solutions, innovations and ideas that help achieve the aspirations of its people and find more efficient mechanisms to activate joint work towards a better tomorrow for all.
