The Yemeni army is winning the war on these fronts

The Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen announced the start of a military operation in Sanaa, targeting the positions of Houthi terrorist militias in response to threats.

In a statement carried by the official Saudi Press Agency yesterday, the coalition asked civilians not to approach the targeted sites in Sanaa.

The coalition said it will take “firm operational measures in response to threats against civilian objects in Saudi Arabia”, adding that the Houthis have chosen to escalate their attacks on civilian airports and civilians, and that the Houthi militia deliberately targets civilian airports in a manner that cannot be condoned and requires deterrence.

Separately, the Yemeni army yesterday announced the liberation of 80% of the strategic city of Harad in the north of Hajjah Governorate, northwest of Yemen.

Yemeni army spokesman Brig. Gen. Abdo Majali said in a press briefing: “The army forces in the 5th military region are making steady progress on the ground in Harad district for the eighth consecutive day by circumventing, encircling and controlling roads and governing bodies”, the official Saba agency reported.

He added: “Our forces are dealing with the remaining militia members deep inside the city of Harad, and the engineering teams are working on removing the obstacles and landmines planted by the terrorist militia in roads, government facilities and citizens’ houses”.

A Yemeni army spokesman confirmed that Coalition aircraft carried out precision air strikes that destroyed Houthi command and control centers, positions, vehicles and reinforcements.
The army and the giants’ brigades, backed by fighter jets, are continuing their operations to liberate positions between Hareb and al-Juba, southern Marib, he said.

He added: “Our forces have completed control of the important crossroads linking the two directorates, and the areas of al-Jufra and al-Abu Ghanim in al-Abdiya district have been liberated”.
The offensive operations are ongoing in Maqbanah front in Taiz province, Majali said, where strategic positions, including areas in Al-Akhlud, have been liberated and the militia has been physically and manned.

He pointed out that the coalition fighter jets carried out many raids targeting the enemy fortifications in the districts of Jabal Habashy and Maqbanah, confirming the destruction of three 14.5mm caliber machine guns, two combat vehicles and a 23mm cannon, and the destruction of eight combat crews carrying Houthi militias, weapons and ammunition.
