According to Instagram, users can now reply to creators’ messages and engage with each other. Additionally, this update allows creators to actively participate using timed prompts and daily check-ins.
New Features
Instagram introduced three new features for broadcast channels, including:
Replies, which enable users to interact with creators and each other by replying to messages. This facilitates mutual conversations while providing the ability to delete or report replies if needed.

To enable replies, users can click on the channel name, select “Channel Controls,” and toggle the “Allow members to reply to messages” setting.
Prompts, a feature designed to help creators break the ice. They can choose from suggested topics or create custom prompts tailored to their channels.
Other users can respond to prompts with text or images for up to 24 hours and like the best responses.
New engagement metrics, allowing creators to access insights about their channels, such as total interactions, story shares, and polls.
