Yemeni analyst reveals Houthi crimes during Ramadan

The Houthi terrorist militia continues its violations, killings, and halting aid in order to prevent its access to innocent citizens in Yemen. For a continuous month, the Houthi terrorist militia has committed its terrorist crimes in various regions.

Houthi violations

Yemen’s Information Minister Muammar al-Eryani said the Houthi group has violated the truce since day one on various fronts. He said the national army has recorded 1,924 violations by the Houthis since the truce was announced three weeks ago.

In a series of tweets, he said violations were distributed across the battlefronts with various types of weapons, including in Marib, Hodeidah, Taiz, Dhale, Hajjah, Saada, al-Jawf, Abyan and Lahij.

Violations Details

The violations were 573 in the Taiz axis, 406 in Hajjah, 399 in Marib, 330 in Hodeida, 152 in Al-Jawf, 49 in Dhale, 9 in Sa’ada, 4 in Abyan, 2 in Lahij, 9 in Saada, 4 in Abyan and 2 in Lahij, he said. The violations also included terrorist militia violations, including 967 firing attacks, 264 artillery attacks, 305 reinforcements, 59 attacks, 17 air raids, and 10 raids New trenches and fortifications, 20 mine-laying operations, 19 sniper operations, and seven attacks on civilian and displacement areas in Hodeida, western Taiz, and Marib.

The Houthi terrorist militias affiliated to Iran, continued to commit violations on various fronts, from the very first moment of the truce declaration under the auspices of the United Nations, in the provinces of Marib, Hodeida, Taiz, Dhale, Hajjah, Saada, al-Jawf, Abyan and Lahij, al-Eryani said.

He called on the international community, the United Nations and the UN envoy to condemn the Houthis’ continuous violations of the UN truce. What is remarkable is that on April 1st, the UN announced the agreement of the Yemeni parties to a two-month truce that began the next day, a comprehensive cessation of military operations, the opening of Sanaa airport to predetermined regional destinations, as well as the approval of ships carrying fuel to the port of Hodeida.

Houthi crimes

Abdul Hafeez Nahari, a Yemeni analyst and human rights activist, said the terrorist militia committed the most heinous crimes during the month of Ramadan. They did not abide by the international truce, but rather continued to commit various violations by preventing aid from reaching citizens in many areas of Yemen, as a continuation of Iranian plans that seek to destroy the state.

The Yemeni analyst added that throughout the month, the Houthi militia committed thousands of crimes and terrorist violations against innocent citizens. They also recruited children and assaulted women, which requires a UN intervention to stop these violations and Houthi crimes.
