Qatar forms public relations company to embellish Taliban image

”Through the establishment of a wide electronic network, Qatar sought to present Taliban ministers in a progressive and positive manner despite their terrorist backgrounds and extremist crimes”, the newspaper said, adding that Doha is spending millions on a public relations company it established in Afghanistan to work specifically to present the Taliban in a good light.
Through this company, Qatar has established social media accounts similar to the Washington Post to promote the Taliban terrorist elements in a positive way, using the name of the US newspaper, and has paid huge sums of money to protect these accounts from being shut down according to the laws on social networking sites, relating to the non-violation of rules in various applications, according to the newspaper.
”This is what Qatar is doing to improve its government’s image through the creation of such accounts and suspicious websites”, The Arabs Post said, noting that Qatar, as a small country, has always focused on finding an opportunity to gain a regional role for itself, which is what it seeks in terms of supporting the Taliban in the hope of controlling the movement and exploiting Afghanistan.
Supporting a group like the Taliban not only undermines the international community’s efforts in the fight against terrorism but also endangers thousands of lives, is said, adding that Doha is directing its material strength and wealth to support any Taliban intentions in the country, especially through its attempts to show the Taliban’s readiness to lead a country in a modern world.
Qatar has started to manage the accounts of Taliban members and officials from the current ministers, usually you will find that their accounts, Taliban supporters condemn the actions of the United States, and they blame them for everything, but since the last few months, they started speaking differently through their accounts, so it seems that the Qatari company manages the accounts in a more accurate and complicated way.
The newspaper confirmed that Qatar is training Taliban members to deal with social media, and concluded its report warning that Qatari support for the Taliban movement, which kills lives and oppresses Afghan women and children, may increase its practices.
The newspaper said : Qatar’s provision of this massive support to this extremist movement reveals the Qatari regime’s internal mindset and policies to impose terrorism to achieve a regional role and take advantage of such a tense situation in countries to gain more control in the region.
