Al-Jazeera and Socotra: Lies expose “suspicious alliance” Al-Houthi and the Brotherhood

As usual, Al-Jazeera continues to stir its poison against the Yemeni people and promote lies aimed at diverting attention from the Houthi-Ikhwan terrorist alliance.

At a time when the Yemeni Brotherhood’s plots to return the Houthis to the gates of Shabwah and to stab Marib, Al-Jazeera rushed to spread the dissociation to divert the compass away, specifically to the island of Socotra, which the channel and the Brotherhood have long used to blackmail and discredit the Saudi-led Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen.

The airing of Early Ambitions in a recording program known as Al-Mutahari on Al Jazeera came at a delicate time in a sign of early Brotherhood-Houthi plans and the extent of covert coordination of action on the ground.

This coincided with the takeover by Houthi militias of three districts in Shabwa and Marib without any fighting and with facilities from the Brotherhood terrorist organization, as part of a plot that observers refer to as proof of coordination between the two groups with a cross-border regional agenda.

From the coast to Socotra… undo the liberator

Not a year has passed since Al-Jazeera aired “The Road to the Coast” and “Al-Mutahari” program host “Jamal Al-Maliki” marketed fabrications that exist only in his imagination until he came up with a new idea that allegedly took a year and a half and this time he chose Socotra.

“An obscure investigator who fully embraces Brotherhood agendas and calls for the restoration of the Ottoman caliphate in its form to occupy Yemen, has been unable to publish any document proving that the UAE treats Al Jazeera under its influence.”

Al-Maliki resorted to airing a phone call, allegedly with a tourist transport company to the island, which confirmed that Qatari entry visas are granted by the Qatari authorities. This confirmed that the weekly flights to the Emirates are strictly humanitarian and tourist.

The film relied on four documents proving that the UAE has a humanitarian presence in Socotra, based on historical kinship ties. It also included two testimonies from ordinary citizens that reflected the true view of the people of Socotra, which thanked the coalition and welcomed any humanitarian action.

The film sought to interview prominent members of the Muslim Brotherhood, Issa Ben Yaqut, who attached to it a fictional description that the community of Socotra does not know and is known for its opposition to the alliance, in addition to the leaders of the “Ali Al- Maamari” and “Ramzi Mahrous” brotherhood.

A false testimony:

The Editor-in-Chief of “Observers Press”, Majid Al-Daare, said that what the Investigative Program said on Al-Jazeera, titled “Early Ambitions,” proved the incorrect news that the United Arab Emirates had naturalized the residents of the island of Socotra, which is protected by international resolutions. Six islands are classified as world heritage landmarks in the name of Yemen.

“There are no real UAE telecom companies on the tourist island, which is unique internationally and the largest in the Arab world, as was previously promoted, and I was the first to believe this,” he said. “A year of monitoring and investigation of all UAE movements on the island was enough to uncover this, if true,” he said in a Facebook post.

“The interrogation institute Jamal al-Maliki, who said he spent a year and a half investigating the incident on the island, concluded that a complete evacuation of all UAE military forces” who were in charge of naval surveillance, he said.

He said that the investigation was a testimony to the UAE and its humanitarian role, not its omission on the island, which everyone knows is neglected by Yemen.

Socotra is one of the world’s four most biodiversity islands, home to thousands of plants, animals and birds, and is home to nine unique species of milk that has been popular since ancient times.

The archipelago of six islands is located between the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean near the Gulf of Aden. It is an estimated 250 kilometers (553 miles) from the temporary Yemeni capital of Aden and contains several mountain ranges, the most important of which is the Hajhar Mountains, which are estimated to be 1,505 meters high.
