Attack on ‘McDonald’s’ in Lebanon due to support for Israel
Some young individuals attacked and vandalized a ‘McDonald‘s’ restaurant in the Lebanese city of Sidon, in protest against the global company’s support for the Israeli army.
Security forces arrived at the scene and worked to disperse the young individuals and calm the situation. The famous American restaurant chain announced its donation of free meals to the Israeli army following the recent tensions after Hamas‘s attack.
The chain’s account on ‘X’ platform stated: ‘We have opened 5 branches that deal only with assistance and donations for Israeli security and rescue forces.’
The account added: ‘We will donate approximately 4,000 meals every day.
