Taliban Foreign Minister Criticizes Iran’s Call for an Inclusive Government in Afghanistan

The Iraqi-Syrian borders have been witnessing Washington’s attempts to cut off the Iranian crescent from Tehran to Beirut by closing the Syrian-Iraqi borders that Iran uses to its advantage.

Border Closure between Iraq and Syria

The US military forces stationed at the Ain al-Asad Air Base in Anbar province, western Iraq, are seeking to close the long borders between Iraq and Syria. Additionally, the US Army is sending new convoys of military trucks transporting weapons .and logistical supplies from Iraq to Al-Hasakah province in Syria.

The US forces stationed at the strategically located base in the Syrian Tanf region are receiving multiple convoys of military equipment from the Ain al-Asad base to implement a secret program in the region.

However, there has been no response from either the US or Iraqi sides regarding the border closure.

Hezbollah’s Threat

Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of Hezbollah. stated that the rumors that the Americans want to close the Syrian-Iraqi borders are mere illusions. and they will not be allowed to do so. Nasrallah added that if the Americans want to fight. they are welcome to. as this is the real battle that will change all equations.

He went on to say that Biden talks about hundreds of billions of dollars spent on occupying Syria, and .they brought extremists from all over the world to fight in Syria. and to kill each other. They are simply foolish tools in the American project. What was required was to deplete them and eliminate the rest in the later stages.

Abdollahian in Lebanon… What Are Iran’s Real Objectives for the Visit?

Iran: No Country Has the Right to Close Transportation Routes and Borders

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said in a press conference at his country’s embassy in Beirut that no party can close transportation routes .and borders between Syria and Iraq.

Amir-Abdollahian added that all external parties know very well that the Syrian-Iraqi border region should be left alone. and that the Syrian-Iraqi borders do not need to return to the security. and military tension that once characterized them.

Dr. Abdul Karim Al-Wazan. an Iraqi political analyst. says this is very clear media propaganda aimed at challenging US-Iraqi relations. especially after the recent successful visit of. the Iraqi delegation to Washington. What recently happened on the ground is a routine change in the US advisory training mission within the Iraqi military bases.

Al-Wazan added that Iran’s militias. which are mobilizing west of the Euphrates on the Syrian-Iraqi borders. are witnessing a split in loyalty in Iraq between Iran’s militias. The United States is focusing on Iran and its militias’ relationship with Russia. Washington wants to sever Iranian-Russian relations. and this is an American negotiating card with Iran.
