During 55 days… 129 planes and 121 trucks of aid from the UAE to Gaza
The United Arab Emirates continues to transport humanitarian aid to assist civilians in the Gaza Strip for the 55th day. The number of cargo planes has reached 129, in addition to two cargo ships and 121 ground transport trucks from Egypt, carrying a total of 13,312 tons of relief aid. This is in accordance with the directives of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE, as part of the ‘The Gallant Knight 3‘ operation.
Furthermore, three water desalination stations with a daily production capacity of 600,000 gallons each have been established, according to the UAE Ministry of Defense through its account on the ‘X’ platform.
The number of cases received in the UAE has reached 395, in addition to 830 cases in the field hospital in Gaza.
Since the escalation in Gaza following the events of October 7th, the UAE’s efforts have not ceased around the clock to stop the war, protect all civilians, provide humanitarian support, and find a comprehensive path to peace.
The Head of State ordered the Joint Operations at the Ministry of Defense to initiate the ‘Gallant Knight 3’ humanitarian operation to support the Palestinian people in Gaza.
The Joint Operations Command at the Ministry of Defense, in collaboration and comprehensive coordination with the UAE Red Crescent Authority, the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Works, the Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, and other humanitarian and charitable institutions in the country, has been instructed to provide humanitarian support to the Palestinian people.
An Emirati medical team oversees the field hospital and provides medical care to the injured as part of the ‘The Gallant Knight 3‘ humanitarian operation launched by the UAE under the directives of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE, to support the Palestinian brothers.
The Emirati field hospital was implemented in stages, with a capacity of over 150 beds, including general surgery, orthopedic surgery, pediatric and women’s services, anesthesia, intensive care for children and adults, as well as clinics in internal medicine, dentistry, psychology, family medicine, in addition to CT scan services, a laboratory, and pharmacy, and supporting medical services.
