Epidemics Spread in Yemeni Bodies Due to Houthi War and Brotherhood Collaboration… What’s New?
In a depiction of the cost of the war ignited by the Houthi militias and supported by the Brotherhood militias, Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) revealed in a recent report a significant increase in cases of acute watery diarrhea – cholera – in various regions.
The organization stated that the number of cases of the disease exceeds 63,000 in most governorates since the beginning of this year, particularly in the past five months.
It added that there has been a significant rise in cases of acute watery diarrhea, with over 63,000 cases reported between January 1 and May 31, based on statistics from health authorities. According to the organization, the spread of acute watery diarrhea (AWD) cases affects almost the entire country, with cases reported in 20 out of 22 governorates, these being suspected cholera cases.
It indicated that more than 2,700 cases among those laboratory-tested are confirmed cholera cases, despite the limited testing capacity in the country.
The report confirmed that the lack of funding for the epidemic response puts tens of thousands at inevitable risk of death. According to the organization, many international organizations have limited resources, making their response inadequate and limiting their ability to provide treatment for patients suffering from acute watery diarrhea and cholera, which can kill within hours if left untreated.

Reopening roads reveals the false battles of the Houthis and the Brotherhood… Details
This epidemic situation represents a terrible cost borne by the population due to the Houthi war and Brotherhood conspiracies, with both factions deliberately causing this situation since the beginning of the war.
The Brotherhood and Houthi militias have deliberately caused a deterioration in living and service sectors, particularly the health sector, opening the door wide to the spread of diseases and epidemics, depriving the population of their right to treatment. The World Health Organization declared that Yemen is one of the 23 worst humanitarian and health emergencies in the world, noting that 17.8 million people need health support this year, while 2.4 million children under the age of five (about half of Yemeni children) suffer from malnutrition, and a quarter of the population needs mental health support.
