Erdogan: We hope to develop bilateral relations with the UAE
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that his country hopes to develop and strengthen bilateral relations with the UAE in various fields that bring the two countries together.
On Wednesday, the Turkish President received the letter of credence from the UAE Ambassador to Ankara, Said Thani Hareb Dhahri.
Erdoğan received the letter of credence from the Libyan Ambassador to Ankara, Mustafa Elgelaib.
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu is visiting the UAE at the invitation of UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdallah ben Zayed Al Nahyane.
Sheikh Mohammed ben Zayed Al Nahyane, crown prince of Abou Dabi and deputy supreme commander of the UAE armed forces, discussed bilateral relations with the Turkish foreign minister and exchanged views on issues of common concern.
The two sides stressed the importance of continuing joint work to push forward relations between the two countries in the coming period
This visit comes after recent statements by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in which he praised the development of relations with the United Arab Emirates, considering it a “historic step”.
