On Friday, the fifth batch of wounded and sick children from Gaza arrived in the United Arab Emirates to receive treatment.
Yesterday, Thursday, a medical team from the UAE arrived in the Egyptian city of El-Arish to evacuate the fifth batch of the wounded from Gaza, in implementation of the directives of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates.
The fifth batch of Gaza’s wounded arrived at El-Arish Airport in preparation for their transfer to the UAE. An Emirati plane carried dozens of Palestinian children who are wounded, cancer patients, and their families from El-Arish Airport in Egypt to the UAE.
The fourth batch of wounded Palestinian children and cancer patients arrived in the UAE on Saturday, December 2, following the directives of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to treat 1,000 Palestinian children and 1,000 cancer patients from Gaza in UAE hospitals.
The hospitals in the UAE provide the highest levels of healthcare for the wounded and cancer patients.
This humanitarian support will continue to alleviate the suffering of Palestinian brothers in the Gaza Strip, who are living in tragic humanitarian conditions.
Since the beginning of the crisis, the UAE has rushed to provide urgent humanitarian and relief assistance to the Gaza Strip.
In this regard, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE, directed the provision of assistance worth $20 million and the establishment of a comprehensive field hospital within the Gaza Strip as part of the “Gallant Knight 3” operation.
