Gaza… Massacres, Health Crises, and Displacement Plans
Israeli occupation forces have committed collective executions, massacres, and genocide against Palestinians, wiping out residential neighborhoods in the Gaza Strip.
According to reports from (al-Quds News), Israeli forces have committed 25 massacres against entire families, resulting in the death of 250 individuals and 500 injuries in the last 24 hours.
The toll of casualties from the Israeli war has risen to 20,674 killed and 54,536 injured since October 7th.
Regarding Israel’s violations against the healthcare system, 141 health facilities have been targeted, with 23 hospitals and 53 health centers ceasing operations.
Israeli forces continue to arrest 99 healthcare workers, including hospital directors in northern Gaza such as Mohammad Abu Salimia, Ahmed Al-Kahlout, and Ahmed Muhanna.
Israeli forces deliberately destroyed hospitals in northern Gaza, leaving 800,000 residents without healthcare services. The wounded, patients, pregnant women, and infants are facing imminent death.
The bed occupancy rate in southern hospitals reached 350%, with hundreds of wounded lying on the floors in wards and operating rooms. Medical teams are struggling to handle critical, severe, and complex cases, as well as severe burn injuries due to the lack of required medical, human, and clinical resources.
In a related context, the health and humanitarian conditions in shelter centers have reached catastrophic levels for over 1.8 million displaced people, exposing them to the risks of famine, severe cold, the spread of diseases, and epidemics. Among them are 900,000 children in shelters facing the risks of dehydration, famine, gastrointestinal and respiratory diseases, anemia, and 50,000 pregnant women in shelters without water, food, or healthcare. About 180 women are giving birth daily in unsafe and inhumane conditions.
70% of kidney failure patients face catastrophic health risks due to bombings, displacement, and difficulty accessing kidney dialysis services, especially in northern Gaza.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported at least 70 people killed yesterday due to Israeli shelling on the Palestinian refugee camp in the Gaza Strip, anticipating an increase in the death toll.
The ministry stated, as reported by Ma’an Agency, that the shelling destroyed at least 3 houses in the central camp, initially reporting the death of at least 60 people.
The spokesperson for the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza stated that what is happening in the Maghazi camp is a genocide of a densely populated residential area.
In addition to the fatalities, the Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed dozens of camp residents injured, with wide areas of the camp turning into rubble.
The intense Israeli war on Gaza continues, with 90% of the population internally displaced according to United Nations estimates. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu appears to be working on a plan to forcibly displace Gazans.
During a closed parliamentary session for members of the ruling Likud party, Netanyahu stated that he is working on plans for the implementation of “voluntary migration” for Palestinians from Gaza to other countries, as reported by Israel Hayom newspaper.
He considered the only problem hindering the plan is the willingness of countries to accommodate refugees, affirming that he is working to solve this issue.
Likud party member Danny Danon added that the world is already discussing this matter, with Canadian Immigration Minister Marco Mendicino openly talking about it, as well as Nikki Haley (the potential Republican candidate for the U.S. presidency), according to the same newspaper.
He added, “We must form a team in Israel to address this issue and make sure that anyone who wants to leave Gaza for a third country can do so.”
He also believed that this matter should be organized, given its strategic importance after the end of the war.
It is worth noting that most Arab countries, as well as the United States and several European countries, have expressed their rejection of the forced displacement of Palestinians from Gaza abroad.
