Khamenei: US enmity toward Iran would continue after Trump departure
On Wednesday, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei stated that Washington’s enmity toward the Islamic Republic would not cease when US President Donald Trump departs.
According to his official website, Khamenei said: The hostility (against Iran) is not just from Trump’s America, which will not end when he leaves, as (President Barack) Obama’s America also did bad things to…the Iranian nation.
Otherwise, Iranian media indicated that Khamenei would hold his first public function on Wednesday since the appearance of rumors about the weakness of his health.
The media reports related that Khamenei would gather events’ organizers to mark the first anniversary of the Iran’s top commander murder, Qassem Soleimani, in a US drone assault in Iraq.
