Playing cards with images of Hamas leaders in the hands of Israeli soldiers… Details

The Israeli army distributed (10,000) sets of playing cards to its soldiers in the Gaza Strip, each containing (52) images of prominent figures in Hamas who are “wanted,” making it easier for the soldiers to identify them, similar to what the United States did in Iraq after its invasion.

According to the “ynet news” website, at the top of the wanted list in the playing cards is the leader of the Hamas movement, Yahya Sinwar, and on another card is the top-wanted leader of the military wing of the movement, Mohammed al-Deif.

The playing cards representing the wanted individuals for Israel also include pictures of leaders of the Hamas movement abroad, such as Ismail Haniyeh and Khaled Meshaal.

The cards also feature images of (10) Hamas officials who were eliminated by the Israeli army. It is worth noting that since 2017, Yahya Sinwar, the head of the political bureau of Hamas in the Gaza Strip, has been described by Israelis as “the dead man,” and Israel considers him, along with the military wing leader of Hamas, Mohammed al-Deif, as the masterminds behind the planning of the attack that occurred on October 7th in Israel.

Today, both of them have become the most important wanted individuals for Israel, which has repeatedly emphasized that the war in the Gaza Strip will not end until the goal is achieved, which is the elimination of the Hamas movement.

The same action was taken by the U.S. military intelligence agencies following the invasion of Iraq in 2003, distributing playing cards to American soldiers in Iraq to help them identify members of President Saddam Hussein’s government.
