Revolutionary Treatment for Alzheimer’s Disease

A recent study conducted on mice has revealed that exposing the brain to electrical currents can prevent dementia symptoms for up to 20 years before they appear.

According to the British newspaper “Daily Mail”, the study found that it is possible to halt the degeneration of brain cells and prevent memory loss and cognitive decline by targeting brain regions of rodents that were damaged during Alzheimer‘s disease.

Researchers surgically connected low-level wave electrodes to the brains of laboratory mice to prevent the formation of harmful proteins in the brain and to prevent the memory center in the brain from shrinking once a month.

The study’s results showed that electrical currents prevent the decline that could be a sign of Alzheimer‘s disease, which could be present early from 10 to 20 years before the disease is diagnosed in humans.
