SpaceX launches 23 satellites in launch mission number 58
SpaceX has successfully launched Launch Mission Number 58 in 2023, with a Falcon 9 rocket carrying 23 Starlink satellites from the Cape Canaveral Space Launch Complex in Florida, over the Atlantic Ocean.
The Falcon 9 rocket carrying 23 additional internet satellites from Launch Complex 40 at the Cape Canaveral Space Launch Base took off at 10:17 PM (0217 Greenwich Mean Time) on Sunday on a southward trajectory, visible along Florida’s east coast.
The Space Coast area in the American state of Florida witnessed a record-breaking 57 launch operations in 2022, a record surpassed just four days ago when SpaceX launched its last mission to deploy a Starlink satellite.
SpaceX has been responsible for all 58 launch operations, except for four launches from the Cape Canaveral Space Launch Base and the Kennedy Space Center, which were carried out by United Launch Alliance and Relativity Space.
