The Brotherhood’s Betrayal Affects Everyone.. Who Handed Over the “Deputy Guide” to Egyptian Security Agencies?

A new document, revealed by the Egyptian media defector from the Muslim Brotherhood, Hussam al-Ghamry, exposes a surprise that exposes the betrayal of members of the terrorist group, confirming that they are behind the handing over of the acting guide of the group, Mahmoud Ezzat, to the Egyptian security agencies.

The document, published by Al-Ghamry on his platform “X,” reveals the joy of the “London Front” at the arrest of Mahmoud Ezzat, considering his arrest as the beginning of a new phase and an opportunity for them to distance and oust those they call the historical leadership, so that they can implement their concepts. They see that “Ezzat’s disappearance allows them to conclude agreements with the Egyptian authorities and security agencies.”

In his analysis of the document, Al-Ghamry does not rule out that the Muslim Brotherhood handed over the deputy guide Mahmoud Ezzat to the Egyptian security authorities to prepare the ground for a young leadership and exclude the old leaders of the organization.

He wonders: Is the “clergy of the Brotherhood” in London the one who whispered to Mahmoud Ezzat until the Egyptian police discovered his whereabouts and he was arrested, so they could implement their idea as the document reveals? Al-Ghamri links what happened to previous events in the history of the Muslim Brotherhood, affirming that the Brotherhood can easily kill a Brotherhood leader if it is in favor of a particular faction, adding: “Do not be surprised or rule out this possibility, dear reader. Did not Abdel Rahman al-Sindi (al-Oba) send a box of sweets containing explosives to kill Sayyed Fayez on the occasion of the Prophet’s birthday, to kill him and his children because their second guide, al-Hadibi, had chosen Fayez to replace al-Sindi in leading the special organization?”

Al-Ghamry said: “I learned while I was in Istanbul that this cursed leadership was planning the death of 50,000 of their followers inside the Rabaa sit-in because, as they claimed, Europe would not tolerate blood and would force President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to reinstate the late Mohamed Morsi to power because all they cared about in the sit-in was his return to power and governance.”

According to the document, Ezzat’s disappearance would be an opportunity to untangle the situation and the beginning of disentanglement with the Egyptian state. However, al-Ghamry said that this hope quickly disappeared, as the Egyptian state insisted on its clear position on the group and classified it as a terrorist organization.

Al-Ghamry links what happened to previous events in the history of the Muslim Brotherhood, affirming that “the Brotherhood can easily kill a Brotherhood leader if it is in the interest of a particular faction.” He wrote, saying: “Do not be surprised, dear reader, or rule out this possibility. Let us not forget that Abdel Rahman al-Sindi (al-Oba) sent sweets containing explosives to kill Sayyed Fayez on the occasion of the Prophet’s birthday to kill him and his children because their second guide, al-Hadibi, had chosen Fayez to replace al-Sindi in leading the special organization.”

Al-Ghamry is the subject of systematic defamation campaigns launched by elements of the Muslim Brotherhood after confronting the ideas and positions of the group. The attack reached its peak after he praised the series “El Hashashin” and made a comparison between the Muslim Brotherhood and the “El Hashashin” in terms of origin, objectives, means, and consequences, with campaigns exceeding all limits for al-Ghamry, describing them as “campaigns of slander by the Brothers al-Banna and financing.”
