The Muslim Brotherhood attempted to assassinate Oum Kalthoum and dubbed Hassan el-Banna “the Imam” even though he was not a scholar… Details

The Brotherhood attempted to assassinate Oum Kalthoum and Abd El Wahab and blew up bridges, and they admitted to this in conversations with Hamdi Qandil, some of them were in prison while others were abroad,” revealed Mukhtar Nuh, an Egyptian writer and lawyer.

Speaking about the assassination attempt on Nasser and other assassinations carried out by the Muslim Brotherhood, Nuh added during an interview for the program “Al Shahed” with journalist Dr. Mohamed El-Baz on the channel “Extra News”: “When we heard all the opinions, we discovered that they were true, and when we saw that the methods of individual assassination were the same as those mentioned in the confessions, from the assassination of Oum Kalthoum to Abdel Wahab and the blowing up of bridges.”

He added: “The same story was repeated at a symposium organized by Helmi al-Bluk, where detainees confessed to murder attempts and assassinations, including Abdullah al-Samawi, but I do not know why these episodes and confessions disappeared.”

Nuh also pointed out that the Brotherhood bestowed the title of Imam on Hassan el-Banna to give him authority, although he was not a scholar, indicating that the association of the word Imam succeeded, as no one ever mentioned Hassan el-Banna‘s name without the word Imam, even among the general public who were not convinced by the Brotherhood, they always said “Imam Hassan el-Banna.”

He confirmed that the personality of Hassan el-Banna matched that of Hassan al-Sabbah, not just a mere similarity, but a complete correspondence in ideas, means, execution, and everything else.

In the same interview, the Egyptian writer said that the Brotherhood‘s secret organizations were completely absent, adding: “So when the opportunity arose following the incident at Al-Azhar, the true image of the Brotherhood emerged.”

He continued: “Reason was absent because it was a dynamic utility formula, and the mind was absent until it was mastered and its fabrication mastered, but the truth of its faith is rooted in it, namely the declaration of apostasy against sin.”

Intelligence reports also mentioned that the loyalty of Brotherhood members to the Brotherhood surpassed their loyalty to Islam, where membership in the Brotherhood was considered primary, while membership in Islam was considered secondary. If the interests of the Brotherhood conflicted with those of Islam, the Brotherhood‘s interests were prioritized, justifying this by asserting that Islam advocated and encouraged collective work, and that religious obligations could only be fulfilled within the framework of the Brotherhood, thus transforming this membership into a passion and a struggle for the survival of this Brotherhood.
