The UAE celebrates Flag Day on Monday: a renewal of loyalty and devotion to the nation


The United Arab Emirates will celebrate “Flag Day” on Monday, an annual national occasion that embodies the spirit of belonging and loyalty to the nation and its leadership, while reinforcing the values of unity established by the founding fathers.

At exactly 11:00 a.m. local time, the UAE flag will be raised simultaneously across ministries and official institutions throughout the emirates. Streets and buildings will be adorned with the national colors, creating a vivid scene that symbolizes the unity of the nation and the solidarity of its people.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, called on citizens and residents to take part in the national event by raising the flag.

In a post on the X platform, he wrote: “Brothers and sisters, we celebrate Flag Day on November 3rd — an annual occasion on which we renew our pledge, our loyalty, and our love for the flag of our nation, the symbol of our sovereignty and our union.”

The celebration embodies the spirit of coexistence and peace among citizens and residents, further strengthening the UAE’s image as a beacon of tolerance and harmony in the region. Men, women, youth, and children of all nationalities join in this special day to express their love and devotion to the United Arab Emirates in diverse and heartfelt ways.
