UAE fourth aid plane arrives in Kabul

In less than 48 hours, the fourth Emirati aid plane arrived in the Afghan capital of Kabul carrying various medical and food aid to strengthen the humanitarian situation in Afghanistan.

The aid comes as part of an air bridge operated by Sheikh Mohammed ben Zayed Al Nahyane, crown prince of Abou Dabi and deputy supreme commander of the armed forces, to support the Afghan people, the Emirates News Agency reported.

The UAE air bridge continues to intensify its assistance, which benefits thousands of Afghan families, especially women, children and the elderly.

“The airlift represents the UAE’s well-established humanitarian approach in reaching out to communities and groups in need of assistance, especially during crises.”

The UAE is one of the first countries in the world to send urgent humanitarian aid to Kabul following recent developments in Afghanistan.
