Wadah Bin Attiya: The Brotherhood obstructs the Transitional Council’s Efforts..
Despite the Iranian, Houthi, and Brotherhood plans to spoil the situation in southern Yemen, the south succeeded in thwarting those plans and achieved major victories in Shabwah, Marib, and elsewhere, leaving the al-Islah Party and its allies once again trying to look for subversive schemes.
Marib mini-state
Wadah Bin Attiya, a member of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council, says: The al-Islah Party, an arm of the Muslim Brotherhood terrorist group, is intensifying its coordination with the Houthi terrorist militia to orchestrate terrorist operations and plans in Yemen. The two allies are looking for a means to undermine the work of the Presidential Command Council and to thwart the outcomes and consultations of Riyadh.
Bin Attiyah added: The South has achieved victories over these Brotherhood schemes, most notably the victory in Shabwah. It is a historic victory with evidence at all levels, confirming that the cause of the people of the South has entered a new stage, one of the most important stages of restoring and building the South State in accordance with global policy and working on the reality, away from resonant slogans and the sale of illusion.
Most Yemeni forces will realize that the south is self-determined by international conviction, and will struggle to obtain a share of the friendship pie that will be given to Yemeni Arabs from the south and other neighboring countries, he said. It is better for southerners to look for a partner with a brain that can be supported to rule the north away from the Muslim Brotherhood and Houthi militias, he said, noting that the fact that the southern forces control the oil fields in Shabwah legally demonstrates an international conviction that the transition exists to lead the south in a transition period in smooth steps until the restoration and building of the south in a balanced manner that achieves stability, safeguards the interests of all, meets the demands of the southern people, secures the region and maintains good neighborly relations.
Southern control
The first is that there is no stability in the region unless the water returns to its current level through the will of the southern people, and no solutions that are not acceptable to the people will succeed. The second is that without the Brotherhood, Houthi would not be found, and the Houthis would not end until after the Brotherhood has finished. He confirmed that the director has drawn the end of tools (the Brotherhood and the Houthis), and that the steps taken by the Riyadh consultations have begun to expel them today from Shabwah and the next.
Danger to the South
He warned of the danger that threatens stability in the south and the region, and all efforts must be mobilized to eradicate it, which is the survival of the Brotherhood statelet in Marib. If the Brotherhood’s control is uprooted from all places in Yemen and the south, the Houthi will remain on a throne of water that can easily be drowned by a single blow from all directions.
