Waddah bin Attia reveals Iranian militia and terrorist group plot to target Yemen’s security
The Houthi terrorist militia continues its subversive plans and movements in Yemen, turning Taiz into a scattered province divided between the Houthis and the Brotherhood, and its plots targeting liberated areas, especially the south and the western coast of the country. This is due to the ongoing terrorism in the region aimed at targeting the south.
Continuous clashes
In Taiz city, clashes between government forces and Houthi militia renewed, with intermittent clashes between government forces and Houthi militiamen in the Salalah Valley on the eastern front, Osifra, an air defense camp, the surroundings of Jebel Han and Wadi Hudrin on the western front.
The Houthi terrorist militia occasionally tries to infiltrate government forces, but it has failed and has been repelled; causing them to flee after suffering material and human losses.
The Houthi terrorist militia resumed its bombardment of residential areas and the positions of the forces of the 5th Brigade in support and support and the 4th Brigade in Hazm in the areas between Taiz and Lahij provinces. The Houthis are encircling Taiz from its countryside and from the city of al-Hawban, which houses the operations room of the Houthi militia, from which it directs its terrorist operations in Aden, the south of Yemen, and Taiz, taking advantage of its control over the northern, northwestern and eastern parts of this province, which has major political weight.
The Houthi militia controls the districts of Taiz, Hayfan, Damnah Khadir, Shara’b Ar Rawnah, Shara’b Es-Salam, Mawiya, and Maqbanah, but its most dangerous activity is in the Taiz district, where the city of Saleh has become a forward operating theater for Houthi militia attacks into southern Yemen.
Houthi’s plans
Waddah bin Attiyah, a political analyst in the south of Yemen, said there are widespread Houthi movements in Taiz and the southern regions to carry out terrorist plans that seek to expand their terrorist activities in the south.
The Yemeni political analyst added that the Brotherhood’s domination made them take advantage of the political situation in the quid pro quo alliance with the Houthis. The Brotherhood pressured Rashad Al-Alimi, chairman of the Presidential Command Council, not to make any changes in the army and security in Taiz, like in Marib, in an effort to prevent any progress on the ground to liberate the province from the Houthi militia.
He said the Brotherhood has been conducting military courses for Brotherhood leaders for more than three months, and most of them are ideologues who were brought in from the educational sector and are being trained militarily through specialized courses in command and staff. The Brotherhood also built new brigades outside the Taiz axis, including the Nasr Brigade, the Support and Backup Brigade and the Hamad Brigade, in contrast to the Popular Mobilization Forces, and deliberately dispersed the 35th Armored Brigade and withdrew three military battalions with full ammunition in favor of the new “Victory Brigade”.
This comes a week after Iran’s Houthi militia brought in reinforcements and fighters to reinforce its militants in the areas it occupies in the Khazjeh district of Taiz province.
