“Weather Bomb”: Warnings as Storm “Eowyn” Approaches Britain
The UK Meteorological Office has warned of a potential “weather bomb,” as Storm “Eowyn” is expected to cause widespread disruptions.
Weather alerts have been issued ahead of Eowyn’s expected arrival within the next few hours, with experts forecasting wind speeds of up to 90 miles per hour.
The storm is set to begin on Thursday, bringing a front with heavy rainfall from the east.
The wet and windy conditions are expected to persist until Friday morning, as the storm brings torrential rain and snowfall to large areas of Northern Ireland, Scotland, and the elevated regions of northern Britain.
Rail, road, air, and ferry transport in the alert areas are likely to be affected, with potential cancellations of some journeys and closures of roads and bridges.

According to the regional website Arab Weather, the latest outputs from advanced computer models indicate that a vast portion of northern and western Europe will be affected by a severe storm for the remainder of the week. This storm will be accompanied by heavy rains, intense hailstorms, and significant snowfall.
The storm, named Eowyn, is expected to have a direct impact starting Friday.
As per Arab Weather’s forecasts, the storm will cover a massive area of western Europe in the coming days, impacting seven European countries: Ireland, the UK, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, and Germany, as well as neighboring nations.
