Commenting on a drone attack on the Russian city of Kazan, Zakharova described Zelensky as “the leader of a terrorist cell,” saying, “Osama Bin Zelensky… The Kyiv regime has shown its terrorist nature before, but now it has nothing else,” according to the Russian Sputnik agency.
She added: “This is exactly how the United States and the United Kingdom prepared Osama Bin Laden (former leader of the terrorist organization Al-Qaeda). The same pattern is now visible with Zelensky.”

Continuing her remarks, she said: “He has now become the leader of a terrorist cell that kills people, civilians, scientists, and children while attacking civilian infrastructure. This is a classic scheme by Americans, the British, and Westerners who present such people under some guise of democrats. Then, they engage in extreme terrorist rampages, as we see here. That’s why he is called Osama Bin Zelensky.”
The Russian spokeswoman urged the international community to respond appropriately, saying, “We are outraged by the hypocritical silence of the West and its media, which immediately respond to any attacks by extremists, especially terrorist acts, in various parts of the world. However, in Russia’s case, they pretend nothing is happening. We call on the international community to give a strict assessment of Kyiv’s actions.”
