Erdogan supports The Brotherhood and gives them influence in Turkey at the expense of his people
The Brotherhood has won great support from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who is an incubator for terrorists and extremists, and has gained influence over its territory at the expense of their own people, at a time when the group has been marginalized in all countries.
According to Al-Fajr newspaper, Turkey is the safe haven for the terrorist Brotherhood, following its canonical edicts in all countries for their terrorist acts and acts of violence. Based on a safe life under Erdogan’s administration, dozens of Muslim Brotherhood figures living in Turkey may be considered among the most influential figures in the group.
The Brotherhood’s agreement with Erdoğan’s policy is due to his expansionist ambitions and the attempt to revive the Ottoman Empire, in which the continuity of relations between Turkey and the terrorist Brotherhood governs the common interest; ankara supports them with money and weapons in exchange for helping them with their plans in the region.
Led by Erdoğan of the Justice and Development Party, Turkey sought to finance Muslim Brotherhood-related groups, which were ideologically similar.
According to sources, there are negotiations between the Brotherhood and Erdogan to form an official party to guarantee the next elections, in order to increase the parties that support him, following his resounding losses in previous elections. The opposition won the local elections in March 2019 in the major municipalities, as the Justice and Development Party failed to reach Ankara, Istanbul, Izmir and Antalya.
In light of Turkey’s current economic and social crises, Erdogan is afraid of the coming defeat, so he seeks to attract new parties, but to no avail, so he has resorted to negotiations with the terrorist group Muslim Brotherhood, which has become more in need.
Turkey is using the Brotherhood’s role to maximize their influence in the region, despite the failure of the duo to make any dreams.
Erdogan is keen to maintain friendly relations with the terrorist group by holding regular meetings with its leaders, most notably : Mahmoud Hussein, secretary-general of the terrorist organization, and Medhat al-Haddad, brother of the brother of the deposed Mohamed Morsi, and head of the so-called Istanbul Brotherhood Shura Council. Both are accused of the recently arrested Brotherhood smuggling cell, as well as being on terrorism lists and wanted by Egypt on terrorism charges.
