A New Fall for Ghannouchi – Is Ennahdha movement close to political collapse in Tunisia?

after the multiple crises experienced by the Brotherhood in Tunisia, the removal of the Brotherhood from power, the elimination of its plans in the state, and the siege of party heads, especially Rached Ghannouchi, who was handcuffed by the Tunisian judiciary in several cases following his corrupt crimes.

After being judicially punished several times, Rached Ghannouchi, in an interview with the Turkish Anadolu Agency, revealed on Wednesday his readiness to give up the chairmanship of the movement in case “any party offers a settlement of the Tunisian problem,” he said, and then quickly retracted saying: “We will not give up our position for the sake of whom and for whose sake?”.

During his dialog, Ghannouchi ignored the fact that Ennahdha had been the only party to draw up the law of the game for the past decade, in which the abilities of the Tunisian people were destroyed and their political and social life was ruined. “In 2012 and 2013, we led the governments of Hamadi Jebali and Ali Larayedh in partnership with two other parties, and then we left power to form a technocratic government.”

The dialog showed the state of fear and confusion for Ghannouchi, who is accused of having documents and evidence, especially that he fought against Tunisia’s security, in favor of the outside in order to stay in power and continue his influence.

Observers have said that the Brotherhood is less interested in the Tunisian state’s interests than in its own parochial ones; The Tunisians rejected it and pronounced it popular.

They also stressed that the Tunisian Brotherhood is currently living in a state of huge collapse after the success of the referendum on the constitution, which means their disintegration, the end of their rule, and the beginning of the establishment of the new republic, in which the Ghannouchi Brothers did not reserve a position, considering that Ghannouchi died politically after he had wrapped his neck around the cord and his crimes and his links to the international octopus of the Brotherhood organization were exposed, and his actual end is near.

They expected that Ennahdha and its leader would not find a legal way out through which to escape the charges against them, after they painted a dark present for Tunisia and Tunisians, and made the country a source of terrorism, especially after Ghannouchi was brought before a judge for money laundering, and for questioning him about terrorism as well.

According to the latest opinion polls, Rached Ghannouchi continued to bottom the list of politicians, and 86% of Tunisians considered that the leader of the Brotherhood, the most political figure in the country, is not trusted to play a political role in Tunisia.
