Abdullah bin Bayyah: “Human Brotherhood” Day is recognition of UAE leadership in spreading tolerance
Sheikh Abdullah bin Bayyah, president of the UAE Council for Sharia Fatwa, affirmed that the celebration of the International Day of Human Brotherhood and its adoption by the United Nations is a new global recognition of the leadership of the United Arab Emirates in the dissemination of the story of tolerance and the construction of a civilized model based on human fraternity and the values of peace.
On this occasion, he announced : “The UAE is making proposals for live approaches and strong initiatives at different levels and in international and regional forums with boldness and competence, and the document on human brotherhood bears witness to these distinguished efforts” , according to Emirates News Agency, “WAM”.
Sheikh Bin Bayyah believes that the International Day of Humanity brings hope to all and re-expresses his beliefs in the day when everyone refuses to separate outdated stereotypes from feelings of hatred, as they are united by human brotherhood , love of kindness and friendship, and therefore it is a shining day in the history of mankind.
He called on everyone to be inspired by the spirit of human fraternity, to restore the effectiveness of long-neglected collective actors, to build a bridge of cooperation and unity between all people, and to restore the moral conscience of mankind.
