After the Tunisian elections, has the countdown started for dissolving the Muslim Brotherhood Ennahdha Movement?

Over the past few days, Tunisia has witnessed new developments with regard to the fight against terrorism in the country and the dissolution of many religious associations that have close links with the Muslim Brotherhood’s Ennahdha movement after the judiciary proved their involvement in financing terrorist operations. It has also witnessed a strong blow to the success of the parliamentary elections in Tunisia.

Ennahdha’s Brotherhood Involvement

Reports confirmed that among the important cases prosecuted by Ennahda leaders is the exodus of young Tunisians to Syria between 2012 and 2013. Numerous former officials, members of parliament, and businessmen were arrested for their involvement in this matter, in addition to other cases related to the plundering and theft of the wealth of the Tunisian people, as well as other cases related to corruption and assassinations of dissidents.

Over the past period, the Tunisian authorities have uncovered these black files of Ennahdha. The next day will witness serious surprises, which will reveal many of the Muslim Brotherhood names that have secured the road and hid the traces of those involved in deporting young people and killing them in hotbeds of tension. All the files will be opened. A major earthquake will expose the black years of the decade and the involvement in many terrorist cases.

The End of Ennahdha

Dr. Oussama Aouidet, a Tunisian political analyst, says that there are many cases in which Ennahdha, the Muslim Brotherhood, was involved during its decade-long rule of the country, and that could ultimately lead to the dissolution of the terrorist movement soon.

Aouidet said that the recent parliamentary elections in Tunisia were the final blow to Ennahdha, which sought to disrupt them, pointing out that the coming period will witness the opening of many files that will ultimately destroy Ennahdha and resolve it, stressing that there are many files that will be opened that will reveal the truth about the terrorist movement Ennahdha and its involvement in many of the issues caused by the Brotherhood in Tunisia.

He said the elections have blocked the movement’s return, especially after the failure of its desperate attempts at home and abroad to abort the electoral process. There are some accusations filed against the Tunisian judiciary, including money laundering and youth travel to areas of fighting abroad, amid demands in the street to disband the movement.
