Entering the second phase of the Emirati field hospital into the Gaza Strip
Procedures have begun for the entry of the second phase of the Emirati field hospital into the Gaza Strip, to provide the necessary medical support to the Palestinian brothers.
The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Friday the commencement of the process of introducing the integrated Emirati field hospital to the southern Gaza Strip through the Rafah crossing, to provide the necessary medical support to the Palestinian brothers in the sector.
An Emirati medical team will oversee the field hospital and provide medical care to the injured as part of the humanitarian “The Gallant Knight 3” operation, launched by the United Arab Emirates under the directives of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE, to support the Palestinian brothers.
The implementation of the Emirati field hospital will be carried out in stages, with a capacity of more than 150 beds, including departments for general surgery, orthopedic surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, anesthesia, intensive care for children and adults, as well as clinics specializing in internal medicine, dentistry, psychological counseling, family medicine, in addition to services such as CT scans, a laboratory, pharmacy, and supporting medical services.
The Emirati field hospital is part of the efforts of the UAE to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian brothers and support the healthcare system in the Gaza Strip, which is facing exceptionally critical conditions.
