Even Ukraine has not escaped from Erdogan’s mercenaries… Turkey joins line of crisis with Russia

Thousands of Syrian mercenaries loyal to the Turkish regime threatened to stop fighting against the Syrian Army, according to the Syrian Al-Watan newspaper, which indicated that mercenaries demonstrated in Alep, after Ankara cut their salaries for the third consecutive month. It also continued to pay only the Syrian Turkmen organizations loyal to it, especially the gunmen of Sultan Murad, Sultan Suleiman Shah, and Al-Amashat, what it considered as the Arab mercenaries dismissal of their services.

The same newspaper quoted sources as saying that Turkey, under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has cut off funding to loyalists in northern Syria, in order to force militants to accept fighting in other areas and external fronts, such as Ukraine to fight against pro-Russian separatists and Russian regular forces, in return for promises of higher salaries and financial inducements.

Turkey exploits conflicts and transfers their mercenaries to Ukraine

“Citing opposition sources close to the national army, which Turkey has formed in northern Syria, the newspaper said it was asking Turkish intelligence to equip it to send mercenaries to Ukraine, with a strong reluctance to avoid Russia’s wrath”.

The newspaper confirmed the arrival of at least 130 mercenaries returning from Libya to Ukraine on Tuesday, “after they disappeared for three weeks without knowing the destination”, to fight against Russian forces if armed confrontations erupted between the two countries after an escalation between them.
