Islamist Leader Insults Children of Taiz… Leaked Recording

Amin Al-Akimi, a leader in the Al-Islah party, “the arm of the Muslim Brotherhood in Yemen,” described the children of Taiz as “dogs and blabbermouths.”

In the past few hours, activists on social media have circulated a leaked audio recording of Al-Akimi, who served as the governor of Jawf province and commander of its combat front, before being dismissed over allegations of embezzling financial and material allowances for fighters provided by the Arab coalition, as well as the diversion of weapons and their storage in private warehouses, later handed over to the terrorist Houthi militias, “Iran’s agents,” according to the Middle East website.

The leaked recording contained insults directed at the head of the executive unit for managing government-run displaced camps, Najib Al-Saadi, describing him with terms that confirm the nature and mentality of the leaders of the Al-Islah party “Yemeni Brothers,” who accept no one outside the organization’s members.

Social media activists expressed their outrage and mockery over the racist and inappropriate remarks made by Al-Akimi against Al-Saadi, which insulted the children of Taiz in general, stating that the man speaks in line with his true nature and partisan upbringing characterized by a discriminatory tendency towards any Yemeni not affiliated with the organization and the party wrapped in religious slogans, just as is the case with the nature of the terrorist Houthi militias.

They also highlighted the nature of Al-Akimi’s dismissal from his position as governor of Jawf and commander of its front, following scandals of fund embezzlement, with information indicating over 69 million Saudi riyals, as well as the concealment of weapons delivered to fighters on the coalition front, and his contribution to handing over Jawf to the Houthis; prompting Saudi Arabia to arrest and detain him for several years.
